Looking to boost recovery, reduce inflammation, or improve skin health without second-guessing what works? At MYo Lab, our Red Light Therapy (RLT) sessions are guided by clinical expertise, not spa trends.
Whether you’re healing from a workout, improving skin tone, or simply supporting long-term wellness, our evidence-based RLT protocols help you get the most out of every session.
In each session, you can choose to combine Infrared (IR) & Red Light Therapy (RLT) at no additional cost or just use one of them.
Red Light Therapy (RLT) uses low-level red and near-infrared light to stimulate cellular repair, reduce inflammation, and support collagen production. It’s non-invasive, painless, and clinically supported.
RLT works by targeting the mitochondria—the “powerhouses” of your cells. When these cells absorb certain light wavelengths, they produce more energy, helping your body function more efficiently. This boost can lead to faster healing, improved skin tone, and enhanced cell regeneration. Simply put: your cells work better, so you feel better.
Red Light Therapy is supported by a growing body of research and has been shown to support:
I had my first sauna session today. When it’s cold and rainy I ache all over, and this is one of the best ways I know of to ease my arthritis pain. Very relaxing. I will definitely be using this again!

Red Light Therapy uses low-level red and near-infrared light wavelengths to stimulate cellular activity, leading to improved cell repair, collagen production, and reduced inflammation. RLT is particularly effective for skin health, joint pain, wound healing, and hair regrowth.
Infrared Sauna Therapy, on the other hand, uses far-infrared heat to warm the body directly, penetrating deep into muscles and tissues. It’s great for relaxing tight muscles, improving circulation, detoxification, and supporting nervous system recovery.
While the mechanisms are different—light vs. heat—they complement each other beautifully. That’s why at MYo Lab, you can use both therapies in the same session for layered benefits that support your whole body.
Absolutely. Our sauna is fully equipped with both infrared heat and red light therapy, so you can enjoy the benefits of both during your 40-minute session, at no additional cost. It’s a great way to support both deep tissue recovery and cellular repair in one visit.
Yes. It’s non-invasive and FDA-approved for a variety of uses. That being said, it’s important to let us know about any medical conditions before your session.
Absolutely. It’s ideal to use before or after Massage therapy and Chiropractic treatments to enhance their effects.
Not at all. Red Light Therapy does not use UV light, so it doesn’t tan the skin or increase your risk of skin damage. Instead, it uses therapeutic red and near-infrared wavelengths that stimulate cellular repair and regeneration, which is completely safe, non-invasive, and UV-free.
Each Red Light Therapy session is built into a 40-minute appointment, and the RLT component typically runs for 10–20 minutes, depending on your focus. You can also combine it with an Infrared Sauna at no extra cost.
It depends on your goals. For general wellness and maintenance, 2–3 sessions per week is a great place to start. For targeted concerns like skin conditions or injury recovery, research supports 3–5 sessions per week for 6–8 weeks for the best results. We’ll help you tailor a plan based on your needs.
