Lena Anderson

Lena went to the University of Calgary where she studied Honours Biomedical Science. While there, she completed her Thesis investigating virus induced tumorigenesis. She has always been interested in health and wellness as reflected in both her degree and dancing competitively growing up.

After working in a laboratory setting throughout her undergrad, Lena found value in switching paths to finding a career that involved working closely with others and helping those around her. She followed this passion and gained experience in busy clinical settings, coaching children, and becoming a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area.

Outside of the clinic, Lena is likely out at a new restaurant, trying (and failing) to tire out her dog Frodo, dancing like nobody’s watching, or spending hours building Lego.
