Registered Dietitian

What is a Registered Dietitian?

A Registered Dietitian is a regulated health professional who is passionate about the potential of food to enhance lives and improve health. Dietitians have a degree in foods and nutrition from an accredited university program and undergo comprehensive and rigorous training, both on the job and in universities. Just like all regulated health professionals, dietitians are committed and required to stay on top of emerging research, skills, and techniques. Dietitians provide evidenced-based nutrition information, and are the trusted source of nutrition information. They look past fads and gimmicks to give you reliable nutrition information!

  • To discuss optimal nutrition for a healthy pregnancy.
  • To discuss digestive concerns. This might include irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, GI upset, crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
  • To discuss sports nutrition; which might include suggestions on optimal protein intake, meal timing, hydration, pre and post exercise nutrition etc.
