Naturopathic medicine combines modern evidence-based medicine with traditional, natural forms of
medicine historically used. Naturopathic doctors look at the symptoms of disease as an imbalance in the body and utilize the healing power of nature to treat the root cause.

Amy is a former university soccer player who found her passion of naturopathic medicine through exercise and nutrition. She focuses on finding the root cause of disease and educates and empowers her patients to find and create balance in their own lives. Known as a team player (only a few red cards during her soccer career), she will be there supporting you every step of the way.
Areas of Passion:
1. Athletic Performance: As a former University soccer athlete, Amy focuses on optimizing performance and recovery in order for athletes to push the limits and attain peak performance while preventing and reducing occurrence of injuries.
2. Nervous System Regulation: Balancing the autonomic nervous system is one of Amy's passions as it is essential to healing the body from mental, emotional, and physical stress.
3. Hormone Imbalances: Hormones effect all processes in the body and Amy's experience as an athlete and going through naturopathic medical school started her passion for hormones and how stress, lack of sleep, trauma, and nutrition can heavily influence hormones.
4. Environmental Medicine: Personal experience with chronic infections has lead Amy to look deeper into the root cause of disease and unexplained symptoms. Heavy metal, environmental toxins and mold toxicity, as well as chronic infections can be at the root of, or heavily contribute to many disease processes.
